5. Use and disclosure of personal data and purpose thereof

Such personal data are collected, processed and used exclusively for the following purposes, in accordance with the applicable regulations for the protection of personal data:

  • accounting of funding, or proof of use inspections

A transfer of data for commercial use to third parties does not take place. A transfer of data to public bodies, for which GSA carries out its activities, occurs. Such bodies are:

  • The institutes, that are entrusted by the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern state government with the company and evaluation of the support.

6. Data retention period

Whenever necessary, we will handle and save your personal data for the time it takes to process the funding, which, for example, includes the issue and revocation of an approval as well as the monitoring of the earmarking periods required or repayments in the case of loans granted. It should be noted that the duration of the funding relationship typically spans several years.In addition, we have to observe various storage obligations and documentation duties. These are regulated in No. 4.7 to §§ 70 to 80 of the Budget Code of the State of Mecklenburg-Western Pommerania (LHO M-V), EU regulations, §§ 238, 257 para. 4 of the German Commercial Code (HGB), § 25a para. 1 sentence 6 No. 2 of the German Banking Act (KWG) and § 8 para. 4 of the German Money Laundering Act (GwG).Finally, the retention period is also determined by the statutory periods of limitation, which according to, for example, §§ 195 (et seq.) of the German Civil Code (BGB), can be up to thirty years, whereas the regular period of limitation is three years.

7. Right of revocation

You may at any time revoke your previously granted permission for data processing at the responsible institution, GSA Schwerin s.u., with future effect. To do this, please, contact us by phone or e-mail.

8. Right to access, delete, block

You have the right to access your personal data stored at GSA at any time; you also have the right to correct, block or delete such data. 9. Right of complaint at the supervisory body
