Structure development measures
Using funds from the European Social Fund (ESF), the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania promotes projects whose aim is the provision of structure-developing services for companies in accordance with the "Directive on the Promotion of Structure Development Measures". The measures are intended to contribute to an increase of the competitiveness of the economy and the creation and securing of long-term jobs on the primary labour market. Subsidies for staff costs amounting to a maximum of €20,000 per employee and year are promoted.
Project ideas are to be submitted to the appropriate GSA regional office. The GSA office in Greifswald is responsible for the regional planning in Western Pomerania and the GSA in Neubrandenburg is responsible for the Mecklenburg Lake District region, while our office in Rostock is responsible for Central Mecklenburg/Rostock and our office in Schwerin is responsible for Western Mecklenburg.
The promotion of regional structure development measures follows a decision by the responsible Regional Advisory Council. This is the basis for applications being made to "GSA Gesellschaft für Struktur- und Arbeitsmarktentwicklung mbH" as the body in charge of receiving applications and checking them. The approval authority is the Landesförderinstitut Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (LFI) [State Institute for Business Promotion for Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania].
