“Guideline for the promotion of lifelong learning” B1.3

In accordance with the above guideline, the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania grants benefits for measures that increase the readiness and ability for lifelong learning and for the development of a culture of lifelong learning in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania - from state funds and with the assistance of the European Social Fund.

Projects and programmes from the following sectors are supported

  • Offers that complement those of schools and that stimulate and enable students to learn independently and discover inquiry-based learning, in particular in the areas of natural sciences and technology, economics, society, environmental awareness, new media and foreign languages
  • Development and testing of concepts that improve the mutual permeability of the vocational training and university education systems or increase the performance of the training and further education systems
  • Advanced vocational training independent of any one company, in particular for the purpose of developing key qualifications in the areas of communication and media competence, foreign languages, protection of resources and energy efficiency.

In the context of the promotion of projects, the benefits are granted - by way of partial funding - as non-refundable subsidies amounting to as much as 90% of the eligible expenditure. The complete funding of all eligible expenses can be effected in justified exceptions.

Beneficiaries can be natural persons, associations, schools and universities, as well as legal persons of private and public law.

Applications must be submitted to GSA Gesellschaft für Struktur- und Arbeitsmarktentwicklung mbH as institution for the receipt and initial check of applications. The approval authority is the Landesförderinstitut Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (LFI) (State Support Institute of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania).

Until the application forms are available for downloading at isapide.arbeitsmarktfoerderung-mv.de, the forms can be downloaded from the internet presence of GSA.
